RapidConnect Desktop gives users the ability to upload MMB firmware images onto connect devices, e.g. RapidHA, RapidConnect 2.

Firmware images can be found on the firmware flavour home-pages or users can request images from their MMBNetworks contact. 

 

To upload a firmware image, open a new instance of the RapidConnect Desktop.

Click on the 'Firmware Upload' button from the start screen.


Select the module form the 'Available Modules' list (1) that you wish to upload new firmware to.

Once a module is selected its properties will be displayed in the 'Module Properties' window. These properties will tell you the current firmware version loaded on the device.

Click 'Select File' to browse for the new firmware image file.


Select the MMB firmware image to upload and click the 'Select' button.


Once selected the file select window will close and the user will be brought back to the firmware upload window.

Click the 'Upload' button to start the firmware upload.


Firmware upload will begin and users should see the following window


When upload has complete users should see a status of 'Success'
