What if I want to use an external antenna that isn't on the list of approved antenna parts for the RapidConnect Module?
As long as the antenna gain for your preferred antenna is < 5dBi, MMB can update the FCC filing to include your antenna. A small fee for that update will apply and we will need samples of your antenna part. Talk to your Account Manager if you require RF approval for other jurisdictions (eg. ETSI, ISED).
