Why do I get a "No Image Available" response from the OTA Server when my device sends a Query Next Image Request?

"No Image Available" means that there was no matching/compatible OTA upgrade file loaded onto the OTA Server. Some things to check are:

  1. Ensure that the Manufacturer ID and Image Type ID of the OTA image matches the corresponding attribute values on the device side. Devices can only upgrade to images that have the same manufacturer and image type id's as themselves.
  2. If you are using RapidHA Desktop to configure the OTA Server, make sure that the upgrade policy has been set correctly. For example, if the file version on the OTA Server is higher than what's on the device, then the policy must be set to "Allow upgrade to higher version".
