I am trying to specify a power supply for my device. What are the expected average and maximum current consumption figures for the RapidConnect Module?

The highest current consumption will occur when the module is in transmit mode, as shown in the Electrical Specifications section of the RapidConnect Module datasheet.

The "average" power consumption is difficult to characterize because it depends on usage/configuration. For example, a battery-powered End Device has a configurable sleep/wake cycle. The more often a device is transmitting or receiving, the higher its average power consumption will be. See MMB's Battery Life Calculator for data that can be used in your own calculations of average current consumption.
