The Zigbee Alliance is an open, non-profit association of members from around the globe and across all areas of the IoT, that have created standards that ultimately deliver greater freedom and flexibility for developers building wireless technology. This means that Zigbee Alliance technologies are not owned by a single company, but can be used by anyone who becomes a member of the alliance. As a result, Zigbee based solutions at every level of the supply chain are available from companies around the globe, including MMB.

Zigbee Alliance members are businesses, universities and government agencies. Members work together creating wireless solutions for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications.

From the Zigbee Alliance:

"Established in 2002, the Zigbee Alliance's wide-ranging global membership collaborates to create and evolve universal open standards for the products transforming the way we live, work, and play. With our members' deep and diverse expertise, robust certification programs, and a full suite of open IoT solutions, we are leading the movement toward a more intuitive, imaginative, and useful world."

MMB Networks is a long-standing member of the Zigbee Alliance. We have made significant contributions to Zigbee specifications including Smart Energy (SE), Home Automation (HA), and Zigbee 3.0. MMB currently holds multiple leadership positions in the Zigbee Alliance.
