Is there a way to extract RSSI from the dongle and devices?

Yes, we have diagnostic frames which can be sent from the Host to the Module in order to gather RSSI information. You can see their description here.

For example, you could use the Network Scan Request to obtain a response that would include RSSI information about any available network that is formed within range of the dongle you're using. Note that the dongle must be in the "Network Down" state. If this is not convenient (for example, if you'd like to query RSSI from a RapidConnect-based coordinator that is currently participating in a network), the Latency Request frame can be used.

If you want RSSI information for networks, you can also use the Site Survey Tool.
