Are serial acknowledgment errors handled or reported to the application?
You have the option of enforcing serial acknowledgement with the application (this is a configuration setting that is disabled by default, but may be enabled by the Host during start up synchronization). The Serial Acknowledgement page of the protocol covers this topic.
Customers are required to implement their own serial handling and serial acknowledgement algorithm, and so may report errors if required.
