Can I run some of my own code (eg. for my device's logic like LED control) directly on the RapidConnect Module?

The Rapidconnect platform is designed to work with a Host MCU by default. Many of our customers choose to implement our RapidConnect serial protocol on their Host MCU.

If your device doesn't include a Host MCU or you'd like to avoid updating the code on your Host, you can hire MMB to incorporate this logic into a custom build of RapidConnect firmware. We have provided custom builds to numerous vendors in the past. In some cases, they simply wanted a Zigbee version of their product to match the features that they already provided for a different wireless protocol (like Z-Wave, for example).
