How to Run RF Tests

You may utilize the serial frames in the Manufacturing Library Header to run radio frequency tests
- to validate your hardware during the development of your product
- to pass FCC, ETSI certification
- during production for end-of-line testing
Test Setup
The following serial sequence shows the template for all manufacturing library tests. Note it's possible to run different type of tests (Tone, Stream, Packets) within the same Manufacturing Library Start and Stop session.
The network state must be down to run the manufacturing library tests.
Transmit Tone
The following serial sequence shows how to send out an unmodulated tone.
Transmit Stream
The following serial sequence shows how to send out a stream of modulated symbols.
Transmit and Receive Packets
To test packet transmission, you want two modules – one as the transmitter, and the other as the receiver.
