Below you will find an overview of the RapidConnect Lighting & Sensor Development Kit components.

Key Components

RapidConnect Lighting & Sensor Evaluation Board

The RapidConnect Lighting & Sensor Evaluation Board has been designed specifically to showcase the features in the RapidConnect Lighting & Sensor firmware.

LEGEND:

  1. Button to simulate PIR Occupancy Sensor (Digital)

  2. Button to simulate Ultrasonic Occupancy Sensor (Digital)

  3. Trimpot to simulate a 0-1V Analog Illuminance Measurement Sensor (aka Light Level Sensor)

  4. Factory Reset Button

  5. Network Status LED

  6. Relay Control LED

  7. LED to show the effect of the PWM signal

RapidConnect USB Stick

This will serve as your network coordinator (using RapidConnect Desktop to send commands over the air to the other devices).

You can also use a RapidConnect Development Board as the network coordinator, as long as it's running our standard RapidHA or RapidConnect firmware.
