What happens if the system reboots, is power cycled, or is otherwise interrupted during a firmware upgrade?
When a firmware upgrade is in process, the image is uploaded to a dedicated partition on the device, and is not used until the image has been fully uploaded and verified. If the update is interrupted or fails for any reason, the module will boot the existing firmware because the new (incomplete) image has not been uploaded to the main partition yet.
